Barbara Ward DSR, DipAPMA, B HOM, RCHom

I am extremely passionate about my profession, and welcome the opportunity to work with you, alongside other health professionals.

I was raised in Dunedin, and educated at Queens High School. After completing year 13, I trained at the Dunedin Public Hospital to become a radiographer (DSR). Over the next 12 years I gained extensive experience in hospitals and private practice.

I was Charge Radiographer at Wakari Hospital, and relieving Charge Radiographer at Nelson Public Hospital. I then traveled to Australia to take a locum radiographer position. Eventually, desiring a change, I worked as a pharmaceutical representative in Queensland. It was at this time, due to my own ill health I discovered homeopathy. The remedy I was given had such a profound effect on my wellbeing that I decided to become a homeopath. After completing my Bachelor of Homeopathy, I returned to Dunedin in 1991 and set up my practice.

I am a member of the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths of which I serve as President from 2000-2002.

Barbara Warm Homeopath

"As a registered Medical Herbalist I have referred common clients to Barbara Ward and have used her services myself with great success. She is one of the most skilled homeopaths in New Zealand. I call her " Dr Dart " because of her uncanny ability to, "Hit the bulls eye, when it comes to resolve acute or chronic illnesses."

"I am very grateful to have benefited from Barbara Ward's expertise, knowledge and wisdom, in both my personal life and professional lives. I was faced with a number of challenges - physical as well as emotional, and I sought Barbara's advice and help.

I was treated professionally and respectfully. I felt in very safe hands with Barbara and with time and patience, thankfully my difficulties disappeared! When I moved overseas I was delighted to still be able to access Barbara's help & support online, a relief! My German Shepherd dog also suffered major health problems and again with Barbara's help and intuition she managed to help him overcome some enormous problems!

I have recommended Barbara and her work to many of my colleagues, friends and animal lovers. Keep up your wonderful work Barbara - you are helping so many of us (human and animals) heal!"
